I'm not speaking about what I personally feel. I'm asking if it's wise for a theater to present a work so far-left or so far-right that they turn off a huge percent of ticket buyers. Broadway shows don't do this, but these days, off-Broadway shows don't seem to have a problem with it.
With the number of off-Broadway companies closing within the past year, you'd think theaters would be on their hands and knees begging to get more people to come into their buildings, not turning away huge numbers of them with radical ideology (far-left or far-right). |
