Was Leader of the Pack really that bad? I like the OBC. Dinah Manhof could really belt out a tune. She could have been nominated at least based on the recording.
I didn't see it, but I do recall it was fairly well regarded when it was a small, off-Broadway show at the Bottom Line. When it was expanded and moved to the Ambassador Theater, critics felt whatever funky charm the original production had was lost in the translation.
