"Travesties" Last Night

Gibberish, but with the kind of loopy brilliance that Stoppard imbues in his texts. Not entirely cohesive, but if you don't even try to understand what is going on, you can take in the broader entertainment - almost as if you were watching a farce in a foreign language. I appreciated the echoes of Wilde/'Earnest', but found it mostly lost among the Lenin stuff.

Discussions of class, art, politics ... I guess? In the long run, I won't remember much (if anything) about this text, but the performances are mostly excellent. Not sure if the design and direction coalesces, but I'm not mad I spent 2.5 hours with this experience.
