These are all at the Fisher except for Aladdin which will be at the Detroit Opera House. The Masonic hasn't been used since the mid-naughts and is no longer suitable for touring shows due to its state of decay. It was saved from foreclosure a few years ago by one of the members of The White Stripes - but that didn't include any monies for restoration, updating the theatre, or any of its infrastructure. It is now used only for weddings and some local meetings in the lower level ballroom, and for occasional rock concerts downstairs.

The Detroit Opera House is used for bigger "spectacle" shows these days --- i.e. Wicked, Aladdin, Lion King.

Independent tours not part of the "Broadway in Detroit" series are sometimes brought into the Fox Theatre by Olympia Entertainment -- The Color Purple last season, White Christmas for several years in a row among others.

Lighting Thief was written by a University of Michigan grad so its not surprising it is on the Detroit season with limited tour stops and one-off's elsewhere.
