Saw this afternoon's performance and still astounded by Billie Piper! She is a force of nature in this production as she pulls out all the stops as a woman desperately trying to have a baby-I have always admired her film and TV work,but was not prepared to see how magnificent she is on stage. Really hopeful she'll do more in New York-try to see this spellbinding portrayal...the Armory by the way is very comfortable-it was my first time here, so I didn't know what to expect,but it really is a beautiful space.

I saw it this week, too, and admired it but didn't LOVE it. I was never moved by it, which I found surprising. Wondering if being moved falls under your praise of it being "spell-binding"? Not everybody needs to feel moved to have loved something, but I am one of those people :).
