| Broadway Failures On Tour |

| I have now had season tickets in Detroit for 35 years. It used to be that most shows were on the way to NYC or Broadway hits going on the road. Over the last few years there are more and more Broadway failures touring. Shows that did not recoup in NYC. Finding Neverland, Something Rotten, Catch Me If You Can and on and on. I am not complaining. I like seeing most of them. Are these shows doing enough business on the road to return their investments? Is that what is happening? Just curious. |
