Other possible reasons: ticket prices on the road are cheaper but theaters are bigger many local subscribers don't closely follow the Broadway news and reviews so the tour says "Direct from Broadway!" the ticket buyers don't know that the show closed early and lost money. Unlike the folks on ATC.
