Because of SETA, most shows on those contracts can remain equity. At full production contract, the risk is probably too great for many of the shows to go out.
And, frankly, on all SETA contracts the cast and crew participate in overage sharing when the show makes profit in each market. On several SETA tours I've known folks to earn MORE than production contracts because of the profit sharing plan. |
