Agree. Have no idea who Julie Jordan is from this production.
Agree. The sets and lighting were perfectly moody and evocative.
Agree. The choreography was appropriate, sexy and at times thrilling. LOVED the carousel.
Thought Billy was just angry and jumpy all the time with no explanation why. Casting problem. Don't think this actor has it in him. But Director could have taken a POV. And why did they cast this guy? I thought his skill-set was lacking all around. If you're going to go untraditional casting, at least get someone who can serve the script and music. Even though he's way older than the character, I would have killed to have seen Norm Lewis or maybe even Christopher Jackson. |
