And Martin McDonagh's ''Hangmen'' was named Best Foreign Play.
Plus, special citations went to the Park Ave. Armory, the Transport Group and the staging, design and illusions of ''Harry Potter & the Cursed Child.''
Last year, the Drama Critics picked ''The Band's Visit'' as Best Musical.
I'll be curious to see which shows were in contention for Best Musical; I imagine they'll be posting their vote totals shortly.
The last time they skipped giving out Best Musical was the 2009-2010 season. |
