| If there is such a harsh policy, it needs to be disclosed on the Telecharge page before you order, and again before you hit "submit" to order. I find it hard to believe that there isn't one appropriate moment in the entire show that they couldn't seat latecomers. The over-the-top hyena laughs annoy me so much more. Why don't you ban those. If your laugh is too loud so we can't hear the words, we're throwing you out of the theater. This tends to be a problem only with the 8pm shows. The matinee crowd and the 7pm crowd tend to be so much more well-behaved. Why they'd want to discourage lucrative beverage sales is beyond me. People I know won't want to buy beverages at the theater if they know they'll rudely be denied their purchased seat if they need to use the bathroom mid-show. There are ways to get back at theaters who are nasty to you though with these policies: Wear total crap to the theater (running shorts, white sneakers, tank top). Get up during curtain call to beat the slow-moving crowd out of the theater. Don't buy merchandise and don't buy beverages at the theater. Give the pompous attitude right back to them. |
