| Some of us believe that life is too short to have a great show interrupted by latecomers, people coming and going during the show, the clinking of ice cubes in people's drinks, the crunching of food during the show, etc. Some of us feel that these "rules" are just common sense and common courtesy to the actors and other audience members. Some of us go to the theater to get completely absorbed by and drawn into the world of the play without any distractions. Some of us believe that these "rules" are not disrespectful to patrons, but rather show the utmost respect to patrons by allowing them to enjoy the experience they came for. |
