Look, I know that EVERYONE thinks that their particular set of circumstances is special and that an exception should be made for them. In your case, there's a simple solution --- sit on an aisle towards the back of the theatre (or on an aisle anywhere in the mezz), and IF you run into a problem you can easily leave. Then, once your situation is under control you simply watch the rest of the act (or the rest of the show if it occurs in Act II) from the back of the theatre and return to your seats at intermission. If this is something that occurs on a regular basis when you take your niece to a show, then MAYBE you need to rethink doing that until she's older and her condition is more manageable? Isn't her health and well being (not to mention the theatre experience of the other 1000+ people who also paid good money to be there) more important that you possibly having to miss a few minutes of some play (or god forbid watch it from the back row)?
