| Yes-sigh. On another note, unrelated, I waged a 6 month email correspondence with the Broadway League (of which I am a full member) about the fact that IBDB did not acknowledge that Leonard Stone won a Tony for REDHEAD ( one of my favorite shows from that era) Even after I sent them the clipping from the NY Times reporting on the Tonys that year, indicating that there was a tie for Best Featured Actor in a Musical between Mr Stone and Russell Nype (Goldilocks) - they both won - it took then two months to correct the entry. Curiously Stone and Nype were the only nominees in the category. A little off that none of the excellent men in FLOWER DRUM SONG Were nominated! On the other hand, neither Don Ameche or Elaine Stritch or Nat Frey were nominated either. A very odd year. My latest IBDB project = trying to get the League to update their search criteria for seasons. At the moment, when you enter most seasons from first 30+ years of the Tonys, shows that have opened after the deadline pop up. Too much time on my hands, and a full time gig, and directed a feature film. But - broadway! |
