| THE GREEN ROOM 42 PRESENTS THE DEBUT OF BOOKE SIMPSON FINALIST FROM NBC-TV’s “THE VOICE” SATURDAY, MAY 12 THE GREEN ROOM 42 – Broadway’s newest intimate concert venue – has announced the debut of BROOKE SIMPSON, finalist of NBC-TV’s “The Voice” for her debut concert on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00 PM. Simpson received a four chair turn for NBC’s “The Voice,” a chance to work with Miley Cyrus, charting on the iTunes “Top 10” week after week, and Brooke getting 3rd place on the show’s 13th season. This New York evening will celebrate her single “2AM,” released earlier this year and the new single “Perfect.” BROOKE SIMPSON, from recording her first song at the age of 2 years old, to being a part of NBC’s “The Voice,” is a powerhouse vocalist who is passionate about songwriting and people. Growing up she traveled with her family singing from church to church around the US. As Brooke continued to grow and develop vocally, she eventually was crowned Female vocal winner of the International Teen Talent competition, which awarded her the opportunity to attend Lee University in Cleveland, TN. In college Brooke began to discover who she is as an artist. She began to dig deeper into songwriting, which led to her recording her first solo EP. With a large and growing fan base, Brooke is touring, writing, recording, and has released her debut single “2AM,” which reached the iTunes pop charts. BROOKE SIMPSON performs at The Green Room 42 (570 Tenth Avenue at 42nd Street, on the 4th Floor of Yotel) on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00 PM.
