Although it uses many of the same themes, it is different from the original. It is the complete ballet as it was performed in the Nick Hytner production, but it is a little hard to tell as it doesn’t conform to the 1945 production. I am seeing it again in NY in a couple of weeks and will go armed with the original in my head so I will be able
to tell if this one is the same as the original. |
