| Actually, Tonys are predicated to some degree on whether the house is eligible, and City Center opted some years ago not to be. I assume there must have been a financial consideration, but i don't know. In any case, the short runs would make it difficult to invite all the Tony voters, which you have to do. But the house is, at the moment, ineligible, not considered a Broadway venue, by its own choice. |
