| There have been other nominees for shows that ran one performance, including Marian Seldes for Father's Day and Geraldine Brooks for Brightower, and there have been quite a number of nominees for shows that ran a week or less. There have been even been two winners, Dolores Gray and Zoe Caldwell, for shows that ran a week or less, although Gray won before there were nominees (at least before nominees were announced).
