| While I agree with your assessment of Crudup's fine work, I remain confounded by your (and most critics') admiration for the piece itself. Not only is the story being told totally implausible, but the character relating it (to whom...could you tell me?) would never reveal what he's revealing to anybody. In other words: the play is unadulterated horseshit. |
