I did. And the opera. And the Center Theatre Group Production. I have to say that for me, hands down the best production of ANGELS I have seen was the original National Theatre production - MILLENIUM first, and the then the revival a year later when they added PERESTROIKA.
Henry Goodman and David Schofield were both brilliant as Roy Cohn. In the complete ANGELS at the NT in 1993, Declan Donallen's production had the best cast I have ever seen in a production of ANGELS. Schofield, Daniel Craig as Joe, Clare Holman as Harper, Jason Isaacs as Lewis, Stephen Dillane as Prior, and Joseph Mydell as Belize. |
