| Brittania, I agree about the total lack of any resemblance to real life in RISE, and I stopped watching after the first episode. But I felt the same about the enormously popular GLEE, and I stopped watching that after two or three episodes. One of the moments that really sent me over the edge was when Matthew Morrison's character found out his wife was (supposedly) pregnant, and so he quit his public school teaching job -- without having another job lined up -- because he wanted to find a job with "better benefits." And then we see him filling out a form at an employment agency.... | |
