| I agree it is hard to say. It just struck me as a particularly anemic season in terms of internal creativity. Even the Trillin piece seems like something that may have come to them pre-packaged. My fear, as I suggested, is that the building is getting the better of them. It won't be the first time this has happened to someone. But I am just struck by the seeming shift into this curatorial role, as if there is no one there with much energy, or maybe no one there. (Maybe I am off-base; just a reaction.) |
