| i'd be a little pissed. If rumors are true, the show only recouped a few weeks ago under Peters. I would think Midler will be getting even more for her "return". And there is nothing that doesn't allow both shows to run at the same time. Yes, the Shubert is much bigger than Lyceum or longacre (both of those shows could be kicked out by end of summer) or Studio 54 (currently vacant this fall) and shubert is better location, but premium pricing could make up the difference. I really wonder how much money he really invests in these shows when there are dozens of investors, i think he makes his money on Executive producer fees and other weekly fees than probably his actual investment--but that is conjecture. |
