| I also thought Laura Michelle Kelly was a standout. Fun production for sure. But I really can't stand The Lambeth Walk - not enough there to be repeated over and over and ... |

| I found the Broadway production insufferable and when the cast filled the aisles during the equally insufferable Lambeth Walk my companion had to hold me in my seat to keep me from fleeing the theater. | |

| There was no cast list on the website. Who did Simon Jones play? I thought I saw John Horton doing what Sir Jasper Tring would do. Which means Jones would have been either Heathersett (the butler) or Lord Whatshisname: the other couple who are "in the family". | |

| Horton did play Tring. Jones was Lord Battersby. | |

| Thanks! And apologies to Lord Battersby for forgetting his name. | |

| "...not enough there to be repeated over and over and ..." Truer words were never spake but that's kind of the charm of it, no? The relentless, unembarrassed repetition. Most audiences go out beaming and God knows it was a dance that swept the world for a time. |

| I was not charmed, but I'm happy many others were. I have been charmed by songs that go on and on, but they have more than four lines repeated, repeated. Spoons or not. :) | |

| "I really can't stand The Lambeth Walk - not enough there to be repeated over and over and ..." I really don't understand why they sing the same lyrics over and over and over again, without at least one instrumental dance break. And then, oddly enough, for the encore they do part of the number again with just the band playing, no singing. |

| I know. Given how little audience response the number elicits, you’d think they would have changed it. | |
