| I was there Sunday afternoon too. What a delightful surprise (especially after the grumpy Times review). Pleasant music, great comic performances, funny (punny) book, some clever direction, some fine dancing. I was especially pleased at the audience response ... though the house was far less full than I’ve seen for other Encores production, the audience was just as enthusiastic, and rightly so. |
