That's classy of Shaiman to acknowledge Styne and Merrill's ''Sugar,'' especially since the press release made no mention of it.
Shaiman and Wittman certainly know about writing for a Marilyn Monroe-type, having writing ''Bombshell'' for NBC's ''Smash.''
