Children of a Lesser God

Saw yesterday's matinee and was really impressed by Kenny Leon's production. Lauren Ridloff was spectacular, but so was Joshua Jackson who hasn't gotten the acclaim he deserves. Both are wonderful especially in the devastating climax scene-really goose bump inducing! So sorry it's only playing one more week. There were ,sorry to say, plenty of empty seats yesterday, but the audience was enthralled and gave the excellent cast a well deserved standing ovation. Try to see it before it's gone!

Yes. Agreed.
Problem with the storyline or perhaps the age we’re living through: the male teacher’s avid pursuit of the cleaning lady, which is over-the-top romantic in intention, might be called “stalking” nowadays.

Sure. But that shouldn't be keeping people away! It just got lost in the spring overload. Jackson is not a big enough star. Ridloff has zero BO mojo, despite an amazing perf. So here we are.
