An over-long dysfunctional family drama ... with all the adult children waiting for the matriarch (well-played by Lois Smith) to die.

Two and a half hours of bickering, mostly over money and/or who will provide in-home care for (the supposedly near-death) Mary.

Peace at last....

I cannot recommend. Time you'll never get back. New Group sure loves the three hour plays. Good grief, this is bad grief!

Saw it last weekend. Sadly, I would agree. I would go anywhere that Lois Smith goes but despite the fact that her character is at the center of the show, she seems to have little to do. And the family drama that surrounds her goes round and round and round.... and goes practically nowhere. Unfortunate. I will wait for her next one.
