Although Brantley and Green chose Carousel, and Carousel has one more nomination than My Fair Lady, I think My Fair Lady will win. They both have their naysayers, but Carousel seems to have more of them. And my sense is that there are more people who really like MFL than people who feel the same way about Carousel. And My Fair Lady has won the Outer Critics Circle award as well.
My prediction is that MFL wins the Drama Desk and the Tony. But who knows? |
