| Ain’t Too Proud will be at the Kennedy Center in July and then, as you say, the Ahmonson in September. I’m assuming they’d like to open it on Broadway in the spring of 2019. You have to respect the path it’s on, because I think there are a lot of producers who would have rushed the show to NY after the raves it received at Berkeley Rep, along with a sold out extended run. I just hope that the creatives take advantage of the opportunity to polish it, cause if they do I think it can be another Jersey Boys. |
