I saw Kerstin Anderson as Maria in the national tour of Sound of Music. She was excellent. This is her first Broadway show. She was still a college student when she was cast as Maria.
Looking at Wikipedia, she is currently 23 years old. She probably appears to be much younger on stage than either Ambrose or Hadden-Patton. I wonder how much that changes the dynamic between Eliza and Henry Higgins. |
