I was there tonight and thought it was rapturous. There are witty homages to Agnes DeMille and Tommy Tune in Stroman's choreography, and that score is just remarkable. And you get to see a lot more of Tony Yazbek than you've ever seen on stage before. Peter Friedman just gets better as he gets older.
I loved it. |
