In the past, others have pointed out that this can be a problem if a person wants to gift tickets to someone without planning to attend the show themselves. But I suppose it's quite rare that such a situation occurs, and not being able to do that may just have to be considered a price to pay for cutting way down on the secondary market on the part of producers who want to do so. It seemed to me that the system worked very well overall for the show I saw at NYTW that applied this method. |
