Really? Or do you mean 3/4 time and variations of 3/4 time? Because I think the 6/8 songs A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, for example, have a very different feel than the 3/4 songs, whereas a score that was truly written entirely in 3/4 would, I think, sound a bit boring regardless of how good each individual song or piece was. So I'm not sure why a composer would self-limit so strictly. |
