I was surprised at how flat the singing was. Except for Vasquez, who should be hired as mc for cabaret next season at sf playhouse. The costumes are fabulous and I felt the cast did well in delivering the jokes, which as you point out are good to stale. I just was a little surprised that the singing wasn’t better.
In contrast, I saw me and my girl which blew me away with the quality of singing and dancing. There are great singers in sf. I’m really glad I went to see that on Saturday.
Pigs fly is fun and worth seeing even with its flaws.
