While I have no inside information, I'm actually kind of surprised we're not hearing about more absences of cast members of musicals these days.
Aside from the well-known difficulties of playing Eliza, this has been kind of a hellacious winter/spring in New York with a lovely day followed by a cold, rainy day followed by a hot day and back to cold and/or rainy again. The nutty weather has got to be playing havoc with singers' voices. |
