Whether or not it happened, it certainly is plausible that Kazee was let go and this story is a cover. It's also possible that he hated being in the show and quit, but the fire story is better for the producers than saying their lead didn't want to continue.
We don't know enough to do more than speculate, but I wouldn't call any of these scenarios ludicrous. |
