I know what you are saying but the marketing part of the stage door (social media etc) is NOT the job or the problem of the actor. Actors in marquee roles will often do late night shows to promote but the idea that an actor should be expected to pump social media by appearing at the stage door is really not what they are paid to do. If they choose to do the stage door that is up to them and that may change from one day to the next depending on their schedule and how tired they are.
BTW, the original post was about approaching someone at Joe Allen's or in another public location. That is a different topic. |
