I think you've answered your own question.
We've had threads (e.g., criticizing actors for not going on when sick) before in which it's clear some people think of actors as inanimate objects. I suppose we should not be surprised it's come to this.
Actors are human. The theatre imitates life; it isn't life. I hope some of you will ponder the meaning of what you are saying here. |
