| Re: Classic Stage (Summer and Smoke - you didn't identify the company). Maybe all that "behavior" (warning about curtain time) the show will start is necessary. When I attended, someone left the theater to go to the rest room right at that "1 minute" time (and they took more than a minute). It's always disruptive to some degree for people to enter a theater late (not good for those already seated as well as the actors), but in this case, with the three-sided configuration and the proximity of stage to audience, I think extra warnings are justified. |
