Elias is a renowned, and wonderful, Brazilian jazz pianist. This is not a recording of the full score (a la that awful one with Domingo), it's just various song selections rethought for jazz piano, variously recorded with 2 different rhythm sections. Though she does sing, and quite well, she doesn't do so here. It's a nice and tasteful album. Give it a try. ;-) |
