If you enjoyed Admissions at LCT as much as I did, I think you'd enjoy this show just as much. Extremely well acted. About a mom on the poorer side of town who really wants the best for her daughter since she doesn't think she's being challenged enough in her current school. What will she do to get her daughter a good education - will she move, will she engage in more questionable activities, etc? That Starbucks set later in the show looked just like a real Starbucks (with its cabinets, milk thermoses, etc). Impressive all around. They made a point to profusely thank all their subscribers at the beginning of the show, who I believe they said cover around 50% of MTC's costs. Quite a few people I overheard leaving the theater were very happy with the show. MTC is smart to keep its subscribers happy with its choice of programming. NYTW can choose to program a one-sided message in their shows, but I believe they are limiting their potential audience (and income) by doing so.
