| I understand he never even went to see Porgy and Bess or as it was called "The Gershwins Porgy and Bess" and he was critical of the production. It will indeed be interesting to see if he is critical of this "Carousel". But of course with P&B, one might consider that there could have been a degree of self-interest since it was opposite Sondheim's own "Follies" that year. |
