It was a musical adapted from the opera, although there was material in it that wasn't in the opera. It was a reading, never a production--fall of 1999. (It was the first or second reading I saw there.) Michele Pawk played Abbie, Joe Cassidy played Eben, David Barron played Ephraim. Bill Nolte and Bob DuSold played the other brothers.
