Elsa is wearing a sturdy winter tundra outfit to climb to the frozen castle, but asks for something better - and then changes (in the sauna) into a peasant outfit with a light cloak. To climb a wintry mountain. Why?
And why after summer returns, is Elsa still in her ice queen outfit?
And why doesn't she just keep the darn gloves on? Oh yeah. Then there would be no story.
FROZEN did seem visually like a throwback to a 50's revival of SONG OF NORWAY.
One distinction the show has is that the Act 2 opener may be one of the 10 worst numbers in any musical ever.
Patti Murin is very fine in the show. Ms/ Levy sings loudly on pitch which is all that is required of her. |
