Lyric/Potter - Is ATG the first theater owner to implement full time metal detectors?

Noticed metal detectors at every 43rd St door/entrance to the Lyric. Don't remember seeing them during previews. (walking past theater, didn't see the show) New? Or old news... Is ATG concerned that Potter is a high profile 'mark' for threats or is this the direction all Bway theaters will be headed sooner or later?
