Harvey Weinstein was carrying to his arraignment copies of books about Rodgers & Hammerstein, also Elia Kazan

Was he trying to make some statement about bad behavior in show business? Besides show business achievements, Kazan was infamously known as someone who named names before the House Un-American Committee during the McCarthy period to save his career. Is he equating Kazan with Weinstein's own accusers? Plus, I never heard anything bad about Hammerstein, who was supposed to be a terrific guy, but Rodgers was known as not quite so benign; mostly stories of his being difficult at times and also of having affairs (and perhaps using the casting couch) with potential women in his shows and movies. I've heard of women refusing Rodgers' advances, but this bad behavior doesn't equate to any of the charges (and potentially upcoming ones) like rape with which Weinstein is accused of. I'm raising this issue here since R&H and Kazan aren't usually in the news since their passing, unless one of their shows or films is revived. Would Weinstein's attorney have counseled him to do this, as they were seen carrying his books once Weinstein was seen in handcuffs. I guess they are trying to say bad behavior has been condoned all these years, but the examples of at least Hammerstein and Kazan aren't precisely correlated to this kind of defense.
