Before the new artistic director took over, the old management would hand out a super-long piece of paper as the playbill (I presume to save on printing costs) and they always made it a point to ask for donations. One wonders how the financials are if they can't give out playbills when they're charging off-Broadway prices. I really enjoyed the plays before the new artistic director came on board; the plays under the prior artistic director were fun, short and had a niceness to them. Jan Buttram is such a kind woman and I am sorry she is no longer there as the plays have gone way downhill in quality since she left.
