| Do people regularly refer to their paper Playbill during the show? I used to open my Playbill for a musical to the songs page and lay it on my lap, but there so rarely was enough light to read, I stopped that practice. And I don't often see other people going through the Playbill during the show. There's really no good reason, to me, not to wait. If they're told to keep their phones off, I doubt they will think it's an exception to read the Playbill (I know, we can't be surprised at what audience members will do, but still, this is probably part of the future and the transition isn't easy). |
