I mentioned it as Public/Papp hypocrisy, that the cash cow show was frozen without any possible racial alterations, and even Diana was not always played by a Latina, which seems impossible to imagine today.

Yes, different times. But it's now bizarre to contemplate the entire run without a woman of color stepping into Cassie or Sheila or especially Diana. We never saw Latinx characters played with darker complected actors. It was a white show with a sprinkling of part-specific diversity.
